Pistols Paul: Golfing lady

From the legacy of a rules expert, golf journalist and avid
Aleid Kemper (The Hague, 12 August 1944 – Zeist, 26 November 2020) received this beautiful painting of a stylish young woman with a golf bag around her shoulder at the Dutch Golf Museum.

Aleid had bought this painting from the Amsterdam Pistols Paultje, with whom she had become friends. Paultje was a renowned underworld figure, but also a Dutch resistance fighter and animal activist.

He had this image copied from a picture from a golf book. The painting is signed T. Earl Christy, a famous American illustrator.
