Kolf medal

In memory of Herman Oosterbeek, we have named a display case the ‘Herman Oosterbeek showcase’. With his collection, he has given the Dutch Golf Museum a flying start.

The medal in this display case is a kolf medal from 1812.
This medal is illustrative of Herman Oosterbeek’s initiative to make golf accessible to a wide audience through a national golf museum. As early as 1998, he registered the name of his planned museum as a trademark. And he started collecting golf memorabilia.
