In early September, 28 golfers from the Kennemer Golf Club in Zandvoort visited the Dutch Golf Museum for a guided tour. Not just any group of golfers, but members of the long-established friends’ group “IJZERSTERK”. All of them are golfers who have largely experienced the history of the Kennemer Golf Club, one of the first golf clubs in the Netherlands, firsthand.

After first playing a round of golf at Golfbaan Landgoed Bleijenbeek, it was time. Following the presentation by John Ott and Ferd Vrijmoed and the surprise video, the attendees spread out in groups through the golf museum. Afterwards, we were overwhelmed with brought gifts, and there were plenty of ideas for new golf items to give as gifts to the golf museum. In short, a very successful day!
