Golf bags Christel Boeljon (1987)
In the golf museum you will see the tour bag and practice bag of Christel Boeljon, one of the best golfers the Netherlands has produced. She was born on July 30, 1987, but already took a sabbatical in 2017 at the age of 29 and then stopped playing top golf altogether. She lacked the fun and motivation for top golf.
The Manulife LPGA Classic of September 2016 was her last tournament, ending a wonderful career with four wins on the Ladies European Tour and a heroine role in the Solheim Cup in 2011.
On 1 September 2022, the museum was enriched with another christel bag, a stand alone bag signed by her, which she used as a practice bag. In addition, the Dutch Golf Museum received a large selection of its professional golf clubs, including the set with which she played the Solheim Cup in 2011. Bag and clubs were donated by the GvoorG Foundation (Golf for the Disabled) and received from treasurer Wil Borst.
