Gunung Sahari Cup

In the Dutch Golf Museum you can find the post-war Gunung Sahari cup.

The Surabaya Golf Club was located in the hilly district of Goenoeng Sahari of the former Dutch East Indies. The original Gunung Sahari cup of the Surabaya golf club was lost in the war, but in 1948 a new solid silver replacement was immediately started as the main cup.

The Surabaya golf club was built in 1898 by Shell employees and was moved to the Goenoeng Sahari district in 2010.

The Surabaja Golf Cup is part of the exhibition “Golf in the former Dutch East Indies”.
Received on loan from the Indisch Golf Weekend (IGW).
