On Wednesday 19 October 2022, the board of the Nederlands Golfmuseum travelled to the Museon-Omniversum museum in The Hague. Not for a day of museum visits, but for an appointment with curator Didi van Trijp and collection manager Gisèle van Eick of the museum.
In preparation for the theme exhibition “Golf in the Dutch East Indies”, which we want to organize in Afferden from April 2023, we have agreed with both ladies to see if we can obtain the golf cups present at the Museon on loan.
During the conversation we are taken to the Depot of Museon-Omniversum, where the golf cups are located. A nice experience, because during a normal museum visit, this space is forbidden to the public.
