Wednesday morning is often busy with golfers at the Landgoed Bleijenbeek pavilion, but last Wednesday there were seven new faces.

Members of Golf Club Kromme Rijn, the 9-hole golf course located in the Brakel nature reserve along the Kromme Rijn between Bunnik and Zeist. Everyone went to Afferden to first visit the Dutch Golf Museum and then enjoy playing at Landgoed Bleijenbeek Golf Course. Of course, ending at Hole 19.

Coincidentally, the board of the golf museum also always meets on Wednesdays, and of course, priorities have to be set when a larger group visits the golf museum. Chairman John Ott adjourned the meeting and then guided the visitors through the golf museum. If board member Ferd joins later as well, it should be clear that the board meeting ran quite long.

But the visitors of Kromme Rijn had a great time and were quite impressed with everything they saw and heard in the golf museum.

That’s what we ultimately do it for: taking care of satisfied visitors who share their experiences with the other members of their golf club when they return. In that respect, positive word-of-mouth is the best way to make the golf museum even better known.

May many golf clubs follow!!
