Dutch Tile Museum: Tiles Kolven (1625-1900)
The Dutch Tile Museum has been good enough to give a large number of wave-related tiles to our museum on loan. Of course we hope to expand the collection over the years. If you still have a few, for which you want to have a good place, then of course we will keep ourselves recommended.
There are three periods. This can be seen in the size of the ornaments, spiders, ox heads and French lilies. The larger these ornaments, the older the tile.
Famous manufacturers are Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum, De Porceleyne Fles Delft and the Harlinger Aardewerk-en Tegelfabriek.
