1970 Introduction Graphite shafts and Metal woods

The companies Graffaloy and Aldila develop the graphite shaft. It was a great success.

In the same period, a company enters the market with woods made of metal, the so-called metalwoods. Poles that were lighter because, unlike woods, they were not massive. With the arrival of metalwoods, a new trend has been set.
